Security
Angel Oil will process your personal data confidentially and maintain the mandatory duty to secrecy with regards to data, in accordance with the GDPR.
Our website ensures that data is encrypted when leaving the site. This process involves the converting of information or data into a code to prevent unauthorised access or interception. Our site employs secure methods to ensure the protection of all credit and debit card transactions. Encryption methods such as SSL are utilised to protect customer data when in transit to and from our site over a secure communications channel. You can be sure of this by checking the web address at Checkout as it will start with "https" instead of the normal "http". A key or small padlock will also appear at the bottom of the web browser.
Making a purchase
We keep your card details safe by using Stripe to take payments. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. All card numbers are encrypted with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allow list. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).

If you have subscribed to our Newsletters in order to receive updates about new products and special offers, and you no longer want to receive these, then you can unsubscribe from these promotional emails at any time by following the unsubscribe directions that appear in each email. Please note we do not use your information to subscribe you automatically to these marketing emails.
